In today’s market environment, consumers are gravitating toward the benefits of maintenance-free, quality products that add value and beauty to their homes. A perfect example of this is the advantage of cellular pvc and permacast exterior columns.

House of Fine Carpentry offers Cellular PVC and PermaCast® columns in a wide variety of styles, sizes and configurations.

The first type of column is made of a durable building material that shares the same physical properties as wood called “Cellular PVC”. This material is maintenance free, rot proof, weather proof, insect proof, and above all is a long lasting economical alternative.

House of Fine Carpentry cellular pvc Columns

Cellular PVC outperforms pine in impact strength, water absorption, dimensional stability, screw-holding power, resistance to flame and maintenance requirements.

Our PVC Custom columns come in a wide assortment of styles such as: Craftsman, Paneled, Smooth, fluted and more. Though our products come fully finished in white they are paint ready to match your project needs.

Moreover installation is easy. Our PVC Columns Simply wrap around existing structural posts and secure into place. This can be done by using a high quality exterior adhesive (we would recommend PVC trimwelder White Hot – available at House of Fine Carpentry Ottawa). This makes for a water tight seal and shows off the true advantage of cellular pvc and permacast exterior columns.
