When Touchstone Interiors invited us to collaborate on the Island Getaway kitchen, we set out to create a space that epitomized modern luxury and practical innovation. The homeowners envisioned an open-concept kitchen that not only made a statement with its design but also catered to their everyday needs—including those of their beloved dog. Anchored by a stunning waterfall island and enriched with thoughtful, custom features, this kitchen was designed to seamlessly balance form and function.
The homeowners desired a kitchen that was equal parts stunning and practical. TouchStone Interiors brought us a design that prioritized clean, modern lines, while incorporating creative solutions for storage and a pet-friendly feature—specifically a dog station. Our team of experts went to work to maximize this open-concept kitchen’s functionality, carefully selecting innovative elements that would enhance usability without adding visual clutter.

Custom Dog Station
We crafted a bespoke dog station that blends effortlessly with the kitchen’s high-end design. Featuring concealed feeding bowls and a dedicated pot filler for fresh water, this station delivers convenience for the homeowners while remaining an understated, elegant feature of the space.
Eucalyptus-Colored Cabinetry
Our custom cabinetry, finished in a timeless eucalyptus hue, became the heart of the design. This sophisticated color, achieved through a meticulous color match by our team, adds warmth and dimension to the kitchen, offering a modern take on classic elegance. Whether it’s eucalyptus or any other shade, our team can expertly match any color a designer brings in, ensuring a perfect fit for every vision.
Step180 Plus Integration
To optimize access to upper cabinets while preserving the sleek millwork, we integrated the Step180 Plus from Hideaway Solutions. This innovative feature tucks away discreetly and unfolds to the left or right with a simple push-to-open mechanism, maintaining both functionality and a flawless design aesthetic.
Waterfall Island
The centerpiece of the space is the expansive waterfall island, a bold feature that offers ample workspace and a striking visual anchor for the open-concept layout.
The Island Getaway kitchen is now a luxurious and highly functional space that exceeds the homeowners’ expectations. The custom dog station has become a standout feature, celebrated for its practicality and seamless integration into the design. The eucalyptus cabinetry sets the tone for a timeless and inviting atmosphere, while the Step180 Plus makes accessing upper storage effortless and stylish.
Finally, the massive waterfall island not only serves as a striking focal point but also fosters a natural flow throughout the open-concept layout, making it the perfect space for cooking, entertaining, and family life.
