Basement Remodel: Transforming a Home into a Swanky Irish Pub

To achieve the desired pub ambiance, we used luxurious walnut millwork and cabinetry painted in Black Beauty by Benjamin Moore. These bold, dark tones set the stage for an elegant, moody space perfect for entertaining. The focal point of the design is the stunning titanium quartzite countertop and backsplash, both in a leathered finish that adds texture and sophistication to the bar area. 

No Detail Overlooked

This remodel was all about the details, and every element was carefully selected to enhance the luxurious feel of the space. Recessed linear LED bar lighting was installed to create a sleek, modern look while also providing excellent illumination for the bar area. The custom cabinetry features sophisticated metal mesh door inserts, adding a refined industrial touch. Behind the floating shelves, an eye-catching smoked mirror backsplash further elevates the design, reflecting light and making the space feel even more dynamic. The star of the show is the custom walnut coffered ceiling, which adds a sense of grandeur to the room. The intricate millwork elevates the basement beyond a simple entertainment area, creating a space where guests will want to linger. 

Seamless Storage Solutions

Our clients wanted a sleek feature wall that wouldn’t compromise the room’s clean, elegant aesthetic. To meet this need, we designed a walnut slatted door front that blends seamlessly with the surrounding wall. This door opens to reveal hidden storage, providing both beauty and functionality. The push-to-open mechanism offers easy access, allowing the wall to remain uncluttered and sophisticated while offering plenty of concealed storage space.
